Fishermen at sea use motor ships and fishing nets, which can vary significantly, depending on the type of fish they catch. Purse seine boats are used for seasonal catching of small bluefish, for which the purse net and floating winch are used.
Purse seiners are used to catch the tuna with purse seine fishing nets, which consist of a long string on which shorter strings are placed with a hook and a bait. Trawlers catch fish and crabs by means of drags or trawlers dragged on the bottom. Beam trawlers are dragged at a certain depth above the seabed.
