PUSH BARGE - a vessel without its own drive, used for the transport of a solid, bulk or liquid (tank barge) cargo. The boat is pushed on the back. The barges are used for the transport of bulk cargo of cereals, sand, gravel, coal, ore, etc.
A PUSHED CONVOY consists of a push barge and a pushed barge. One push barge can push several pushed barges depending on the need of transport, the force of the push barge and the size of the waterway.
